Award-winning Cuban sandwich restaurant Michelle Faedo's Tampeño Cuisine took to Facebook last week to announce the opening of a second location in the county building, located at 601 E. Kennedy Blvd. in downtown Tampa.
Apparently, the wait won't be long either. The post is followed by, "So keep your eyes open to see our grand opening happening very soon." The restaurant offers a menu of made-to-order bites like tostones, plantains, deviled crab, crab cakes, and of course, Cuban sandwiches.
Until the new location pops up, you can get a taste at the OG joint stationed at 1218 Ray Charles Blvd. in downtown Tampa's Tempo district. That spot is open 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Monday – Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, and closed on Sunday.
More details once the official opening date is announced.
