Ah, damn get your Instagram feed ready. Food porn sensation Chick'nCone is opening a franchise location on the 400 block in St. Petersburg before 2020.

The fast-casual concept serves fork-free chicken and waffles on-the-go. Get ready for fried nuggets of chicken tossed in sauces of your choice including sweet, mild and spicy. Signature menu options include Cinna-Maple which is a cone of fried chicken tossed in maple syrup, Kick'n Ranch, Buffalo Blue, and Peri Peri (and African chili) then drenched in chili sauce. All cones are $8, and a side of cajun fries costs $4.

Co-owner Kyle Blanchard told CL that he and his business partner Jennifer Hall were initially thinking to open in Tampa, but downtown St. Pete seemed to be a better fit.

"We've been looking for a location for about a year, and with a new grab-and-go concept, you want heavy foot traffic," Blanchard explains.  That's exactly what the duo is banking on, especially with Red Apple Hotel under construction directly across the street.

The location should be up and running in about three months, and that means Chick'nCones will be in-hand before the year is out.

With a freshly signed lease Blanchard says he and Hall are excited to bring these viral bites to the 'Burg.
