It appears that The City of Tampa and WWE aren't ready to bodyslam their biggest event of the year. 

Tampa Bay Times reporter Charlie Frago went to an extremely long and important emergency policy meeting on Thursday afternoon and listened to state and local officials update everyone on Tampa Bay’s response and preparations to the novel coronavirus update.

One big takeaway: WWE won’t cancel Wrestlemania just yet.

“WWE will take ‘it under advisement and consideration’ according to Hillsborough County Sheriff Chad Chronister,” Frago wrote on Twitter. He also said Hillsborough Commission Les Miller wanted to wait a week before they "pull the plug." 

Wrestlemania is currently scheduled for April 5. 

The news is good for wrestling fanatics who saw that Vegas put an 83% chance Tampa's Wrestlemania being canceled this morning.
