
The race—which starts and ends at Coppertail Brewing Co. just outside of Ybor City—finds solo riders and teams crisscrossing local neighborhoods to buy groceries that are delivered immediately to Metropolitan Ministries.
When the competition wraps, Cranksgiving organizers expect their all-time haul for groceries donated to surpass the 20,000-pound threshold. To sweeten it all up, there’s also a raffle, which this year helps neighbors at the nonprofit Reach St. Pete, which is still operating in a rental after being forced out of their home last year.
