Looks like Jeff Tweedy & company just pulled a Beyonce on us.

Last night, Wilco surprise-released their 11th studio album, Star Wars, for free on their website. Joining the pack of other unannounced album-droppers like the aforementioned Queen B., Radiohead and Justin Timberlake, frontman Jeff Tweedy said via Instagram, “Why release an album this way and why make it free? Well, the biggest reason, and I'm not sure we even need any others, is that it felt like it would be fun. What's more fun than a surprise?”

Featuring 11 new songs by the group, Star Wars can be downloaded via Wilco’s website after entering your email address, but only “for a limited time."
