Idiots and the inexperienced often dismiss burlesque and fetish performances as trashy stripteases with a deviant edge. While these categories aren’t mutually exclusive, comparing stripping in a dive bar to the fetish acts at Taboo 4 is like comparing grainy amateur sex videos to adult films with high production value and a plot. The featured fetish performers at the Castle this Saturday didn't just strip and flash various views of their nether regions. Performers came outfitted with torturous props like paddles and restraints, choreographed routines that acted out the primal beats, outfits so tight they seemed sewed on until these costumes effortlessly slipped off, bedazzled pasties & electrical titty tape, and yes, graphic sexual content.
