The Florida Orchestra We write about some sketchy, salacious stuff in Music Week (did you read the piece about Period Bomb?), so this is a feel good story for anyone who's lost hope. For its fourth and final hospital concert of the season the Florida Orchestra will play pieces by Rossini and Copland in addition to stuff from Superman and Beauty and the Beast. The audience? Outpatients at BOTB-winning Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital. The concert is not open to the public, but you can rest easy knowing that the healing power of music is being delivered to some of the kiddos who need it most. UNR3 w/Justino Walker Ruby’s Elixir residencies roll on with a set by UNR3, which is a scaled down version of the ska outfit led by uke-man Noel Rochford. St. Pete songwriter Justino Walker — who is set to release a new CD on June 1 — will open the show. (Ruby's Elixir, St. Petersburg) INFO
