In honor of Black History Month, Hillsborough County’s public libraries host Pride and Passion: The African-American Baseball Experience, an exhibit of memorabilia that spans the 19th century to the present, exploring the complex links among race, sport and society and putting the black baseball experience into the context of American history and the struggle for civil rights.
