On nearly Saturday morning in America, a bunch of fanatic Anglophiles get up during graveyard hours to watch Premier League football in their pajamas. The ones that live in the Tampa Bay area are actually gonna have to put on some clothes come April.
NBC’s “Premier League Mornings Live” is making its 12th appearance in the United States this spring, with plans to pop-up in Tampa Heights for matchday 33.
There’s quite the slate of matches planned that weekend, which marks just 36 days before the 282-day Premier League season wraps (there are no playoffs in the contest, with the championship going to whoever sits at the top of the table when the dust settles on May 24).

Premier League Mornings Live in Tampa
Time Sat., April 18 and Sun., April 19
Location Armature Works, 1910 North Ola Avenue, Tampa
Times for the contests are to-be-determined, but Manchester City and Arsenal are set to face off in a game that could very well decide the Premier League title. At the time of this publication, City, which won a treble in the 2022-23 season, trails league leader Gunners by just five points.
In September 2024, when “Premier League Mornings Live” went to Chicago, Manchester City faced Arsenal in a stunning game that saw City go down to 10 players before Johnny Stones scored a 98th minute goal to salvage a draw. City finished third that season behind Arsenal and league champs Liverpool.
There’s no cover, but tickets are required to attend “Premier League Mornings Live” at Tampa Armature Works happening Saturday-Sunday, April 18-19. Registration for tickets is supposed to open in March.
For the well-adjusted and uninitiated, “Premier League Mornings Live” is a two-day fan festival that brings NBC Sports’ staple program on the road, complete with host Rebecca Lowe along with analysts Robbie Earle, Robbie Mustoe and USMNT legend Tim Howard. Their studio show will broadcast live on USA Network and Peacock, presumably from the Tampa Armature Works pier, which has become the go-to spot for national sports broadcasters trying to show off how pretty the city can be.
The festival will let Premier League fans watch the games on giant screens instead of at pubs or from their couches. Fan activities like photo opportunities with the Premier League trophy, games, airbrush tattoos, custom jerseys, merch and appearances from legends of the sport (football, or “soccer” as it’s called in the U.S.) are all on the slate.
A press release says that Premier League’s all-time leading goalscorer, Alan Shearer, who retired with Newcastle United in 2006, is confirmed to attend. In the 1994-95 season, Shearer led Blackburn Rovers (currently in the dregs of the EFL Championship) to the Premier League title.
“Premier League Mornings Live” last came to Florida in 2023 when the team visited Orlando.
