Grex, we gladly knew ye. The fierce, frenetic punk-folk-violin-infused band plays its farewell Show at the SPoT's Transitions Gallery. Wish Grex guitarist Nickole Hanna luck in her move out of state. Celebrate with Hanna's other band, Moose Masseuse, Y Los Dos Pistoles and Elevated Gentry. 8 p.m., $5, all ages welcome.

Comedy legend/activist Dick Gregory is making a rare live appearance at Studio@620 this weekend. His Saturday show sold out, but you might still be able to get tickets to his strangely scheduled Sunday morning show at 10:30 a.m.
