Suncaost AIDS Theatre Project teams up with an all-star cast of talented folks from American Stage and the greater Bay area theater community to present Creating a Quilt: A World Aids Day Celebration. Based on Quilt, A Musical Celebration, the theater piece features monologues and songs by several individuals who are honor the lives of loved ones they've lost from AIDS-related causes by creating a square for the AIDS Memorial Quilt. The 90-minute show sheds light on the global epidemic in a positive manner and celebrates the valiant spirits of those who are currently living with AIDS while memorializing those who've passed. Garry Allan Breul directs the locally-staged production, with all proceeds to benefit For AIDS Care Today (FACT), a nonprofit that provides services to people living with HIV and AIDS. Donate to the cause by attending the single-night presentation and take a look at a locally-created AIDS quilt, which will be displayed throughout the evening.
