mad Theatre has announced auditions for Heathers: The Musical, which will run February 14 through March 3. Wordier Than Thou also needs actors for the Ybor City Haunted Theatre and the Gulfport Murder House, starting this weekend and running two weeks.
mad Theatre's actors will work on a volunteer basis but will perform in the Shimberg at the Straz Center. Auditions are Nov. 11: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. and Nov. 16: 7-9 p.m., with callbacks Nov. 18: 11 a.m.-2 p.m. You must reserve an audition spot here.
For Ybor City Haunted House (Oct. 21, afternoons and early evenings), Wordier Than Thou seeks two men (both age unspecified), one of whom "can pull double duty as a ghostly/zombie murdered 1930s bartender and actual bartender."
The Gulfport Murder House (Oct. 19-20 and 26-27, 6-10 p.m.) seeks five 18-25 year old men or women and one man or woman, ages 30-60s.
