We’re in the midst of the world’s largest shuffleboard competition where this year, St. Pete hosts over 100 participants (from eight different countries) in a massive, week-long tournament.

To celebrate the end of the International Shuffleboard Association’s 40th annual world championship, St. Pete’s resident club—which boasts itself as the oldest in the world—hosts a free-to-attend after party full of music, drinks, cake, games and “galactic shuffleboard.”

And if you’d like to catch some of the action earlier in the day, you can still witness the round 13 semifinals and in the morning, round 15 finals for both men and women at 1:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony at The Coliseum that afternoon.

“We’re going back to our roots and doing what we do best: hosting a big, free Friday night party,” St. Pete Shuffleboard Club writes on social media. “We’re waiving our usual $10 non-member fee.” This celebration may commemorate the end of this international, week-long tournament, but it can also be considered an early birthday party since St. Pete’s famed club turns a whopping 100 years-old in January.

There’s no cover for the World Shuffleboard Championships After Party happening on Friday, Oct. 27 at St. Petersburg Shuffleboard Club, located at  559 Mirror Lake Dr. N.
