What is Art on the Menu, exactly? It's part original art, part local artists making original art, part you making original art, part painting and part music. That's a lot of parts, but it's all for a good cause — this night of delights will raise money for local New Port Richey resident Dave Shirley, currently recovering from brain surgery. You can muddy your hands with pottery making, or be more delicate with jewelry crafting, or do your best Van Gogh impression with the featured event Painting Under the Stars. You’ll want to keep your ears attached, though, to enjoy the live music and raffle, although they won’t necessarily be needed for the silent auction also planned for the evening. All of this on top of some tasty eats that you can enjoy guilt-free, since a portion of all the proceeds go to Shirley’s GoFundMe page (at press time, Shirley's page was shy only $1,300 of its $10,000 goal, and we're pretty sure y'all can make that happen in no time flat, right?)
