“Dear Dream Momma, In my dream I was at a bar with my business partner (we are both female). It was some sort of celebration, we may have been drinking (go figure). My partner and I were talking and the conversation was about trying to find things to do together. I’m not sure, but I think she said we need to go skydiving … so I said, 'hey let’s call Jack' (a skydiving friend), and the next thing I know I’m in a plane and people. I don’t know who they were, and, interesting, my partner was not there. They were looking at me and expecting me to leap out the door of the plane.

During the dream, I was crouched at the door of the plane and my mind was racing. I was trying to visualize how it would feel having my body plummet thought the sky … the panic, excitement … the rush and the fear. Yes all those feelings and emotions were spinning in my head as I was looking out the door — but each sensation came one at a time. First I was frightened, and then I imagined excitement and the rush. … then back to fear. It felt so controlled, like I was planning how it was going to feel!! A rehearsal?

I looked over and saw an unknown skydive instructor (it was not Jack, the male skydiver friend) and I said to him, 'Can we do a tandem jump?' He said, sure! Let’s do it. He put his arm around me and we leaned toward the opening as we were making ourselves ready to jump, and then I woke up!”
