In January, the Florida Museum of Photographic Arts honored Bud Lee, the prolific photographer and photojournalist who influenced a generation of artists in Ybor City. The exhibit showcased Lee’s extraordinary images of Tampa as well as the places and people, e.g., Clint Eastwood, he shot for magazines including Esquire. While a stroke ended Lee’s career in 2003, he remains a vital touchstone for local artists.
