Those wishing for the year 2020 to end will be glad to know Christmas festivities are already in order at Busch Gardens.

The theme park’s annual Christmas Town holiday event will be open this year beginning with an early preview weekend Nov. 14-15.

Christmas Town includes millions of Christmas lights, contactless interactions with Santa and Rudolph and a new “Spark the Night” firework show on select nights. The yearly “Christmas on Ice” show will be performed outside for the first-time ever and the “Holly Jolly Express” sing-along train ride will be operating with limited capacity.

Holiday treats will be available throughout the park, including desserts and holiday cocktails like spiked hot chocolate and a signature hot toddy.

Busch Gardens has been working with medical experts in order to offer a safe version of the typical event, according to a news release. This includes outdoor entertainment, temperature checks, face covering requirements and social distancing. The park will also be conducting enhanced sanitation measures.

The event will have a limited capacity and requires an online reservation to attend.

After the preview weekend, the festivities will be in full swing from Nov. 20-Jan. 3.

The event is included in standard park admission. Tickets and reservations can be found on the Busch Gardens website.
