Organizers have canceled the Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival scheduled for this Friday, Aug. 26.
Sigh. This is the second comedy show this month that's been canceled. First Shut Up and Laugh (scheduled for Aug. 12 but canceled before it happened), now Oddball, presented — where it still happens — by Funny or Die.
Don't people think Tampa Bay needs a laugh? What, you you think we know what comedy is? Have you looked around our state?
Maybe it's not us, though. Looks like Oddball's canceled shows in South Florida, Indiana, Connecticut and Washington, too.
Yeah, that must be it. "It's not you, it's me." Let's go with that.
