Actor-comedian Tom Green became famous for his uninhibited public antics on his MTV series, the Tom Green Show, roles in such movies as Road Trip, Freddy Got Fingered and Stealing Harvard, and oddball guest appearances on his Web talk show Tom Greens House Tonight.
But a recent CL interview previewing his June 18 20 standup performances at the Tampa Improv turned uncharacteristically serious when the conversation veered from friendly introduction to the current Deepwater Horizon oil spill.
Greens colorful career will take on his namesake hue when he brings his camera crews along on the Florida leg of his national tour and interviews residents about their sentiments surrounding the ongoing disaster in the Gulf of Mexico.
He shared his personal feelings about the spill with CL, as well as his love of rap music and the reasons he chose to return to stand up comedy.
