The small but mighty City of Imagination space will overflow with dancing, singing and comedy at this Saturday night's Cannonball Cabaret. It's pretty much everything you expect from something that unites musical theater with cannonballs (and has a pair of fishnet-adorned legs sticking out of a cannon on its marketing materials). It's a fundraiser; the money they raise will, to paraphrase their pun, blast the cabaret off to bigger shows.

And bigger would be nice — the late show has already sold out all the seats and there's seriously only a handful left for the 7 p.m. show; you can take your chance on SRO at the door, but why not take the leap and buy a ticket? They'll have drinks available by donation and also, COI is probably the art hub of Gulfport and chronically underexposed, so totes worth a trip.
