If you prefer tricks and treats on ice, then you probably want to be at Amalie Arena on Halloween. Not for a Lightning game, but for Cirque du Soleil’s latest tour, “Axel,” where ice dancers and stunt people tell the story of “a young man and his dynamic group of friends, whose passion for live music and graphic arts come to life in an exhilarating adventure that reminds us all that our dreams are within reach” (perfect for that “live, work, play” vibe permeating the Channel and Water Street district these days). Opens Thurs. Oct. 31. Amalie Arena, 401 Channelside Dr., Tampa. cirquedusoleil.com
