We’ll say it once, and we’ll keep saying it until some asshole on their cell phone mows us down in a crosswalk: Florida is a really dangerous place to be a pedestrian. City planner, urban designer and author Jeff Speck wants to talk about that with St. Petersburg when Palladium Theater hosts a talk and Q&A built around Speck’s book, “Walkable City.”

This one’s a bit expensive if you’re not a Preserve the ‘Burg member, but you’ll get to rub elbows with Speck and leave with lots of good ideas, too.
