The Top 10 stories and poems have been selected from more than 100 entries, and now it's your turn to weigh in. From now until 5 p.m., Fri., Mar. 4, voting will be open at cltampa.com/WritingContest2016.
Follow links on that page to each of the Top 10 stories and poems and then vote once per IP address for your favorite story and/or your favorite poem. Entrants in this year's contest were asked to incorporate the theme — Green — in any way they liked; the word "green" didn't have to appear in the text. We've intentionally not included the author's names, which is how our judges are reading the entries, too: Sheree L. Greer (fiction) and Helen Pruitt Wallace (poetry).
The Judges' Choices and the Readers' Pick winners, who all receive cash prizes, will be announced at a public event in CL Space on Wed., Mar. 16 at 7 p.m. The winning story and poem will be published in CL's issue of Mar. 17.
