On any given night of the week, Coastal Creative’s poppin’ warehouse space in St. Petersburg is hosting some sort of creative event—from fashion shows and concerts to photo shoots and art exhibitions.

This week features an interactive comedy competition that is a bit different from regular stand-up, since the audience will vote “American Idol”-style for their favorite performer. Ten local comedians take the stage to compete for the loudest laughs from the audience, since they’ll decide which performer is “the champion of the night.”

Although the specific lineup for this month’s comedy competition has yet to be released, we hope both local comedians and nationally-recognized funny people can battle it out.

Tickets to the comedy competition at Coastal Creative in St. Petersburg on Thursday, Sept. 14 are still available and start at $10.
