Ah, field day — the day, toward the end of the school year, you get to spend outdoors, running relay races or trying not to topple over in the potato sack races. Too bad you’re not in school anymore… except Color Me Abstract is hosting a fun-for-everyone Family Field Day, where you can be a kid again (without going back to school). No admission fee, but please bring either monetary donations or some of the following to benefit Bright Hopes or Sunrise of Pasco County (they’re resources for the homeless and domestic violence victims, respectively): new socks, nonperishable food, and toiletries — particularly deodorant, sunscreen, shampoo, chapstick, hand sanitizer, conditioner, bug repellent, and lotion.
