
Fans of Marc Maron have been abuzz about the stand-up celeb's plans to headline Tampa for the first show of this year's Oddball Comedy and Curiosity Festival 2014 tour. The date was posted on his "WTF" podcast website weeks ago, but there was no official venue confirmation — until this week.
Live Nation and Funny Or Die announced today the return of the tour for the second consecutive year. This summer's Funny Or Die Presents Oddball Comedy & Curiosity Festival 2014 will feature performances by Amy Schumer, Aziz Ansari, Bill Burr, Brent Morin, Chris Hardwick, Dave Attell, Demetri Martin, DJ Trauma, Hannibal Buress, Jeff Ross, Jermaine Fowler, Jerrod Carmichael, Jim Gaffigan, Jim Jefferies, Julian McCullough, Louis C.K., Marc Maron, Michael Che, Moshe Kasher, Nate Bargatze, Reggie Watts, Ron Funches, Rory Scovel, Sarah Silverman, Whitney Cummings, Second Stage Hosted by Brody Stevens and more. Local lineup varies by city, of course.
The tour kicks off on Aug. 8 at Tampa, Fla.'s MidFlorida Credit Union Amphitheatre. Like last year, Oddball 2014 will include two stages, the return of the Cut Throat Freak Show, nomadic misfit performers, food, libations and more.

Last year's inaugural Oddball Comedy Festival comprised 15 dates and was the largest outdoor comedy festival ever produced by Live Nation. Dave Chappelle andFlight of the Conchords headlined. Oddball 2013 garnered intense media coverage for the duration of the tour and was a critical and commercial success.
