Julie Garisto is a familiar name to Tampa Bay readers, and a familiar face to anyone who's spent time going to clubs or concerts or galleries or anywhere else something cool was going on. Copy editor for Creative Loafing back when it was called the Weekly Planet, she moved on to write arts and music features for tbt* and the St. Petersburg Times, among many other publications, and now I'm happy to say she's back at the Loaf.
Starting next week, Julie will be the new editor of our Arts & Entertainment website, cltampa.com/arts. As part of that job, she'll also edit the events listings and arts picks that are such an important of both the print and online editions of Creative Loafing.
