The story: Basics were rejoicing everywhere across America; it was October and Pumpkin Spice was back in season. 2013 was a record year for the autumn flavor: cereal, ice cream, lattes, toothpaste… But Dana’s eye was on the donuts. Dana offhandedly mentioned her Pumpkin Spice anticipation to Stavros, and was delighted when she came in the work the next day to find two boxes of pumpkin donuts waiting at her desk. It took her six more months to realize that Stavros was making a pass at her. She came to her senses in the spring when Stavros and she bonded over John Legend, and they went on a date to his concert. Since then, they’ve had quite an adventure. They’ve been all over the country, bought a house together, got married, and recently came back from Costa Rica where they spent their honeymoon. This February 14 will be Dana and Stavros’s first Valentine’s together as a married couple, and they couldn’t be happier to spend it in their favorite place — Tampa Bay.
