Actor, filmmaker and outsider artist Crispin Hellion Glover is coming to the Tampa Bay area for a whopping three nights this week to screen his film, perform and meet his fans.

Glover will be at Sun-Ray Cinema in Tampa starting Thursday for what is sure to be a very unique mini-residency.

If you only know Glover from his memorable roles inย “Back To the Future,”ย “Willard, “orย “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter,” then buckle up, buddy. Glover has for decades balanced his Hollywood endeavors with his own more outrรฉ artistic pursuits, which include film, writing and bookmaking, and live performance with slideshow accompaniment. (Which, honestly, has to be seen to be believed.)

Crispin Hellion Glover’s Tampa performance schedule

  • On Thursday, Dec. 4, Glover performs โ€œCrispin Hellion Gloverโ€™s Big Slide Show Part 2โ€ and screens 2005 filmย “What Is It?
  • On Friday, Dec. 5, he stages โ€œCrispin Hellion Gloverโ€™s Big Slide Show Version 3โ€ and screens new filmย “No! YOUโ€™RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance.”
  • Saturday, Dec. 6, is a repeat of Fridayโ€™s programming, but with Glover itโ€™s really never the same performance twice.

All three evenings will also include an audience Q&Aโ€”and this is a man not afraid to be very forthright and conversational with fansโ€”and a book signing. Each eveningโ€™s program starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are still availableย through Sun-Ray Cinema.

Tickets to see Crispin Hellion Glover at Tampa’s Sun-Ray Cinema Thursday-Saturday, Dec. 4-6 are still available and start at $25.
