Actor, filmmaker and outsider artist Crispin Hellion Glover is coming to the Tampa Bay area for a whopping three nights this week to screen his film, perform and meet his fans.

Glover will be at Sun-Ray Cinema in Tampa starting Thursday for what is sure to be a very unique mini-residency.

If you only know Glover from his memorable roles in “Back To the Future,” “Willard, “or “Friday the 13th: The Final Chapter,” then buckle up, buddy. Glover has for decades balanced his Hollywood endeavors with his own more outré artistic pursuits, which include film, writing and bookmaking, and live performance with slideshow accompaniment. (Which, honestly, has to be seen to be believed.)

On Thursday, Dec. 4, Glover performs “Crispin Hellion Glover’s Big Slide Show Part 2” and screens 2005 film “What Is It?“
On Friday, Dec. 5, he stages “Crispin Hellion Glover’s Big Slide Show Version 3” and screens new film “No! YOU’RE WRONG. or: Spooky Action at a Distance.”
Saturday, Dec. 6, is a repeat of Friday’s programming, but with Glover it’s really never the same performance twice.

All three evenings will also include an audience Q&A—and this is a man not afraid to be very forthright and conversational with fans—and a book signing. Each evening’s program starts at 7:30 p.m., and tickets are still available through Sun-Ray Cinema.
