All you boil-dripping beef, fart-sniffing bubble butts get ready because Tampa Comic Con is coming to downtown starting July 30.
The three-day event runs through Aug. 1 at the Tampa Convention Center and features celebrity guests like Filipino actor Dante Basco (1991’s “Hook,” and a few episodes of “The Wonder Years” three years before that), the original Hulk Lou Ferrigno (remember he’s also a person) and Bruce Boxleitner who played Alan Bradley and Tron in “Tron.”
“Hercules” actor Kevin Sorbo and “Episode II—Attack of the Clones” young Boba Fett actor Daniel Logan are also scheduled to appear along with 2021 Ninja Turtle Greg Cipes plus anime and video game voice actress Caitlin Glass and “Archie” comic book artist Dan Parent.
Tickets for Tampa Comic Con set for July 30-Aug.1 at downtown’s Tampa Convention Center are on sale now for $30-$60. Autographs cost extra, but kids 12 and under are free and don’t require any sort of credential for entry.
The return of Tampa Comic Con is much anticipated after the convention was canceled in 2020 due to concerns over coronavirus.
