It’s safe to say that in the 21st century, video is quickly becoming a popular mode of artistic expression. While paintings used to be the most popular forms of art, rapid new developments in technology are making video and film a more preferred pastime. Whether it’s through movie theaters or the growing success of Youtube, people are undoubtedly showing a growing interest in digital media. Unfortunately, digital media is still often underrepresented in art venues, even today. Five video artists from University of South Florida, along with the help of USF’s Centre Gallery, are set out to fix that with their new show DigiMazing.
