Do It This Weekend: Camille Leone in Ybor, Incredible Dogs and Mainsail Arts Fest in St. Pete, Shakespearean open mic, MarineQuest and Earth Day events galore

Karma chameleon  Hmm … if you say Camille and Leone together, it kind of sounds like chameleon. Coincidence? I think not. Camille Leone is Square One’s spring-themed art extravaganza, which has attracted more than 2,000 attendees in the past, and embraces the idea of a woman changing her appearance and character as a means of demonstrating and awakening artistic expression. This year’s artists offer work based on the chameleon-inspired theme – the colors are red, gold and green (a nod to the lyrics of Culture Club’s “Karma Chameleon.”) The spectacular includes more than 100 visual artists, musicians, dancers, models and performers, including CL favorites like the Bella Danza dancers, Bluelucy, Kyle Lambert and Robert Wegmann. The audience can get in on the action by wearing the theme’s colors and by donning masks to transform themselves. Anyone else singing Phantom of the Opera’s “Masquerade” right now?
