Do It This Weekend: V-Day romance, DaVinci's secrets at MOSI, RenFest, Mexican ballet, Agnes of God, the state fair and more

If you're still looking for something to do with your sweetie this weekend, check out our list of the best Tampa Bay Valentine's Day events — from the painted nekkid ladies at the MUSE art show to a GLBT dance or the Blow a Glass Heart for Your Valentine workshop, there's something for everyone.

MOSI’s DaVinci — The Genius (pictured) is a look into the mind of the quintessential Renaissance man. The exhibit features life-sized reproductions of his art, and a 3-D presentation of “Mona Lisa,” “The Last Supper,” the Vitruvian Man and the Sforza Horse. “The Secrets of Mona Lisa” uses smart technology that’s able to “see” under layers of paint, varnish, restoration and attempts at preservation, to see how the classic beauty was really painted. There are also whiz-kid activities, artist sketch nights, Italian cooking demonstrations, young inventor events and a Da Vinci discussion series throughout the exhibit’s run. Feb. 13-May 31, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Mon.-Fri., 9 a.m.-6 p.m. Sat.-Sun., Museum of Science and Industry, 4801 E. Fowler Ave., Tampa, $16.95-$20.95, mosi.org. —Lily Reisman

After the break: the Bay Area Renaissance Festival, Stageworks'production of Agnes of God, Repticon, the Florida State Fair and more
