Mon dieu, it's pinkness, part deux! Yesterday, we brought you the Pink Slip Party. Tonight, it's a whole different batch of chablis-tinted wonderfulness: the Tickled Pink Fundraiser featuring comedian John Heffron at the Tampa Improv.

The event benefits My Hope Chest Foundation, an organization that assists uninsured women who've survived the fight against breast cancer and, as a result, endured life-altering mastectomies. My Hope Chest helps these women in need restore their dignity and self-esteem by providing funds for reconstructive surgery.

A guy who could use some help with his dignity, John Heffron is that matter-of-fact laid-back sort of comic — a bit sarcastic, a bit angry, a bit silly. His humor's about that relatable everyday stuff, nothing too cerebral but fairly eloquently expressed. He's a past winner of Last Comic Standing, starred in the short-lived TV show Dirt with Courtney Cox and has appeared several times on the late-night circuit.

To see Heffron and help out My Hope Chest, attend the 8 p.m. show at Tampa Improv, 1600 E. Eighth Ave., Centro Ybor, Ybor City. 813-864-4000. improvtampa.com. Admission is $17.
