First, the Orpheum presents Ybor for the big RestART audio-visual extravaganza. More than 25 artists, multimedia gurus, DJs and performers are featured, including the angel-voiced and prodigal daughter Geri X (pictured), plus The Wanderer, Jeremy Dufrain, Andrew Rolfsen and DJ Lord Fader.
Drink specials include free keg of PBR while it lasts (!), $2 Rebel Stoke Whiskey and $2 Palm Beer. DJs spin throughout the night for those wishing to shake it on the dancefloor. The festivities go down at the chi chi eatery-club Mangroves in Hyde Park, Tampa. You can't miss it — the club will be tenting the parking lot for a block party.
Tickets are $10 and can be purchased online or at the door. For more information, call 813-356-0556; 21 and older admitted. VIP tables are $250 with one free bottle of Grey Goose. Proceeds benefit the Tampa Police Department Bomb Squad.
