Rich Rice directs It’s a Wonderful Life at 7 p.m., a live reenactment of Lux Radio Theatre's 1947 version of the tale. Plus, there will be a reading O Henry's short story ?“Gift of the Magi,” directed by Nancy Cole and adapted by Dan Neidermyer, and ?“This Will Be Our Year” by local writer Matt Cowley. Partake in a different sort of holiday pageant, one that doles out the usual music, comedy, forgiveness and cheer — but with a sardonic twist. The Heart of Darkness Christmas Spectacular stars writer/actor Greg Barris with Pedro Lima and Rory Scoval.
