2 p.m., 2400 Block of Central Ave. Grand Central District, St. Petersburg.
Last year, several of the businesses along the Grand Central District's 2400 block got together to celebrate a few anniversaries in particular, and a year of vibrant retail and creative community in general. It went so well that they decided to do it again this year, and Grandiversary is rolling around this Saturday with a full slate of vendors, stores, raffles, music and more.
From record store Planet Retro and the brand new Urban Provisions at one end of the block down to Old Key West Bar & Grill — celebrating its own one-year anniversary — at the other, there's going to be a lot going on. Community Cafe is celebrating two years on the block, and a few spaces are hosting live music from the likes of Moon Flag, Meg Shannon, Jeff Brawer, Shae Krispinsky, Rodney Smith and Dan Padilla. Vendors include Pinellas Chocolate Company, BurgBox, Hoola Monsters, The Rolling Cabana, Retro Nuevo Jewelry Designs, Scents & Sensibility and many more.
