Williams Park, downtown St. Petersburg.
Now in its third year, Keep Saint Petersburg Local’s Localtopia is widely considered the ‘Burg’s premier community event. It was an instant hit its first year out, and grew considerably for last year’s affair; this time around, the fest is spilling out of Williams Park onto 3rd Street North, adding a second stage for more than a dozen acts and generally just busting at the seams with nearly 200 homegrown vendors, breweries, restaurants and more. The Skate Village has been enlarged this year, too, along with the Arts Village and Family Village.
Basically, everything great about the St. Pete local lifestyle is crammed into one location — except for dogs, which won’t be permitted this year due to an expected record-breaking number of attendees.
