Attend a Special Thanksgiving Radio Theatre Project Live! show at 7 p.m.  The RTP Live! ensemble will present an adaptation of Lux Radio Theater’s classic, “The Egg and I,” the story that introduced Ma and Pa Kettle and their brood to popular culture.

If you're not familiar, the joint Studio@620-WMNF Radio Theater Project presents radio theater recorded before a live audience and broadcast later on WMNF Community Radio.

In addition, on Dec. 29, a special holiday story night will be featured. Both performances take place at the Studio@620, 620 First Ave. S., St. Petersburg. radiotheatreproject.org.

Also tonight, be like a baby and head out for a Vegas-style cabaret that will entertain with snappy humor, catchy songs and glittering costumes. Voted the Best Cabaret Act by CL, The Scott and Patti Show: Thanks for the Mammaries features the only (sort of) mother and son nightclub act in the Bay area. Scott Daniel, a TTB nominee for American Stage In The Park’s The Wiz, and Matthew McGee, the winner of our Reader’s pick for best drag performer, return to American Stage for a comedic romp for one night only. $18 advanced, $20 at the door. Tonight at 8 p.m. American Stage Theatre Company, 163 Third St. N., St Petersburg. 727-823-PLAY (7529). americanstage.org.
