Sebastian Coolidge Pen & Ink ShowFree. 7 p.m. The Blue Goose, 48 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. St. North, St. Pete.
Though he’s primarily known for his large-scale work on buildings around St. Pete — he was one of the guys who kick-started the whole mural movement in the ‘Burg, having decorated the front of now-defunct downtown clothing retailer Freshly Squeezed back in 2012 — Kansas City-bred, Pinellas-based artist Sebastian Coolidge has plenty more to offer the local art scene.
Tonight he’ll be tightening his focus and his canvas considerably for an exhibition of pen-and-ink drawings at The Blue Goose, a watering hole just down from St. Pete’s 600 block that’s quickly making a name for itself as both a hangout for creatives and a viable art-show venue. At last month’s Frank Strunk III shindig, all but one of the pieces sold on opening night, so stop by early if you’re keen to add to your personal collection.
