Presenting some of the all-time-best edgy, foreign and classic cinema, Second Screen Cult Cinema hosts a movie and cocktail hour the second Wednesday of the month at the chic rental venue the Vault in downtown Tampa.
The event starts with a relaxing happy hour, which offers first-rate cocktails and hors d’oeuvres from stylish local restaurants and caterers. This month’s screening is especially kickass: The 36th Chamber of Shaolin.
The 1978 Chinese import transports us back in time to the Ching dynasty, when a young courier cultivates fists and kicks of fury to inflict vengeance on Manchu soldiers.
