Tuesday, Thursday & Friday: Alice in Wonderland is trippy enough, but local theater presence Roxanne Fay takes this childhood tale to a whole new level with Dream Child: The Trial of Alice in Wonderland. Based on the real story of Alice — the girl who inspired the book, not the girl in the book — Dream Child takes the audience to an ocean liner, where the now-octogenarian Alice prepares to give a speech in celebration of Lewis Carroll’s 100th birthday (in reality, Carroll died 13 days shy of his 66th birthday). Anxiety over seeing the original manuscript sets in and it isn’t long before the voices from Wonderland make appearances. After one night at The Dali and two at Studio@620, the show moves to New York. $20.
