The ugly sweater party has become a tongue-in-cheek standard for inspiring holiday-season cheer, and this year brings highly anticipated events to both sides of the bay.

In St. Pete, favored watering hole The Bends hosts the pop-icon-themed Drake Shake Holiday Bad Sweater Dance Party, featuring prizes for the best and worst sweater, a champagne toast at midnight, and of course DJs Big Chris The Movie and Young Dreidel will be spinning your favorite Drake tunes.

Across the bridges, Seminole Heights’s Red Star Rock Bar’s Ugly Sweater Contest boasts no cover, multiple prizes and live music TBA. So toss on your best-slash-worst-slash-best-again Yuletide weave, pick your location and party on.
