The much-anticipated 2019 SHINE mural festival finally kicks off on Friday (ICYMI: muralists from around the world converge on St. Petersburg until October 26), but Saturday’s BURN street party at Morean Arts Center invites attendees to let the light glow on a once overlooked form of artistic expression — street art. Local heroes BASK and Jujmo have exhibits inside, and the Morean glass studio is staging a “Night Blow” demo — Yes, we said “night blow.” Tickets include open bar and bites, too.
