Last summer Wearable Art happened as Hurricane Idalia set its sights on Florida. Fingers crossed that all the action stays on stage this year for what’s easily one of the Bay area’s best art shows.

In its 18th year for Dunedin Fine Arts Center, the reception and show will once again celebrate designers—10 of them in 2024—who dare to turn fashion into fine art.

Expect the unexpected, but be prepared to become a fan for life if you’ve never been before.

Tickets to Wearable Art 18 on Saturday, Aug. 24 at Dunedin Fine Arts Center are still available and start at $25.

Readers are invited to submit their own events to Creative Loafing Tampa Bay’s things to do calendar.
