The third season of SyFy channel hit Eureka arrives on DVD this Tues., June 29 (well, half of it, at least), and fans of the show will no doubt be rushing to stores to catch up with their favorite little town. But what about the non-fanatics who are still debating dropping an Andrew Jackson on this package?
I'm a huge fan of the Eureka, and the third season was amazing and loaded with plenty of drama, character development and the best law-man around, Sheriff Jack Carter (Colin Ferguson). This DVD set contains the second half of season three, which is mostly about Jack Carter and his new love interest Tess Fontana (Jaime Ray Newman). Also of note is Allison (Salli Richardson-Whitfield) giving birth, and s surprising absence of Zane. The overall story arc concerns signal coming from outer space, with the source of the signal providing one of the more emotional high points of the season — especially for Henry Deacon (Joe Morton).
