runs daily through Dec. 31.
This year’s theme is "Reindeer Games," which features a scavenger hunt through the
light maze to find missing magic bells from Santa’s sleigh. The bells were taken by a
group of mischievous forest animals, who want the chance to fly Santa’s sleigh instead
of their reindeer friends.
The maze features the return of massive reindeer light displays, which were part of
2019’s "The Great Search," as well as the 100-foot “Everwhite” Christmas tree
centerpiece.
There’s also the 450,000-square-foot blackout curtain that turns the inside of Tropicana Field into a winter wonderland with a twinkling North Pole sky.
New this year is an installation of RGB lights that showcase patterns and figures moving from one side of the field to the other. There are also plenty of new and interactive light sculptures and a starry night chandelier effect over the maze, which offers no bad views all around Tropicana Field.
Event Details
declared opening day, Nov. 25, 2022, “Bright Friday” to recognize the event’s
celebration of the holiday season and local businesses.
Economics and logistics aside, as a local, it’s great to see Tropicana Field utilized
during the Rays’ off-season. During Enchant, the 33-year-old stadium is the prettiest it’s ever been. And with a shiny new ballpark in the works, we hope there will still be space for the “World’s Largest Christmas Light Maze” and its signature light bulb cocktails.
Tickets for Enchant Christmas, which is at Tropicana Field in St. Pete through Dec. 31, start at $34 for adults with several add-ons and upgrades available.
To manage crowd flow, you pick a time slot when you buy tickets. Enchant will open as
early as noon on select weekend days, and during the week will open at 5:30 p.m.
There are also night owl tickets available that allow entry as late as 9:30 p.m.
Add-ons and upgrades include ice skating ($15), a buffet dinner ($55) and VIP ($25 per
adult), which includes express entry, access to the VIP lounge, a beverage and a
souvenir gift.
It’s highly recommended that you purchase a parking pass ($15 and up) with your ticket ahead of time.
