Don your fedoras, suspenders, stockings, beads, feathers, hats and canes, because this Friday marks the first monthly Studio Lounge at St. Pete's The Studio@620. The night channels a speakeasy vibe and will be full of live music, heavy dancing and of course, libations.

The internationally acclaimed Sharon Scott (pictured right) is the night's host, and will also show off her powerful pipes and divine angelic growl as she's backed by St. Pete's funky jazz/soul/gospel/blues band, Seed. (Members includes Brian Byrd, Ozanda Gray and Nick Hinckley.)

Frankie "J" Thompson (pictured left) — formerly of The Bar-Kays, and who has toured with Foley, Clarence Clemmons, Joe Walsh and several P-Funk All Stars — will have the crowd moving to the soulful sounds of his trombone, while Jun Bustamante will captivate listeners with her seductive voice.

So pocket that hip flask, put on those dancing shoes, and prepare to flap away. And oh ya, no FEDS permitted on the premises.
