A live action version of the hit Nickelodeon kids show “Paw Patrol” is headed to Tampa’s Yuengling Center on Sept. 18-19.
And in an announcement perfect for Tampa Bay, this production of “Paw Patrol Live” will be centered around a “Great Pirate Adventure.”
Here’s the synopsis:
Mayor Goodway is getting everything shipshape for a big Pirate Day celebration in Adventure Bay. When Cap’n Turbot falls into a dark and mysterious cavern, it’s PAW Patrol to the rescue! Chase, Marshall, Rubble, Skye, Rocky and Zuma save Cap'n Turbot and discover a secret pirate treasure map that leads them on an epic adventure. Things get ruff when Mayor Humdinger wants to find the treasure first for Foggy Bottom. The pups need all paws on deck for this pirate adventure, including help from the newest pup who’s all ears…Tracker! Using their heroic rescue skills, problem solving and teamwork, the pups set sail to save the day. No job is too big, no pirate pup is too small!
We’re pretty sure producers don’t mean for the shows to be Gasparilla-related, but no one’s going to be surprised if the parking lot at the Yuengling Center turns into a giant Gaspy-esque tailgate with toddlers and kiddos drunk on Juicy Juice.
Tickets to see Paw Patrol Live at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida on Sept. 18-19 at 11 a.m. and 3 p.m. on both days go on sale Tuesday, June 22 at 10 a.m. and start at $15. “Very Important Pup” packages are $99 and include meet-and-greets.
The event is currently the only thing on the venue’s event calendar.
