Tampa Theatre's free outdoor picture show, the Sunset Cinema series, continues with the film that made "phone home" and Reese's Pieces touchstones of early-'80s pop culture: Steven Spielberg's classic, E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial. Alcoholic beverages, plastic tarps and tables are not permitted, but attendees can bring blankets, pillows, backrests, low-profile beach chairs and picnic baskets. Traditional cinema snacks and Tampa Theatre merch will be available for purchase. Sat., Nov. 1, 7 p.m., Al Lopez Park, Tampa, free, gates open at 5 p.m.
